Awesome Appeal To All Christians!

"There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?"

~James 4:12~

I stumbled across this video today via God Vine on Facebook and immediately knew I wanted to pass this on. This young woman's testimony is compelling. As believers it is not our right to judge anyone or condemn anyone for anything. Or even "change" anyone.

The only one who has that right is God. As believers we are to set an example of Christ and we are to let that example and testimony reflect in our lives for others to see and come to see Christ through us. The change must be their decision. The rest is up to The Lord himself...not us. We can share our testimony with others and allow our lives to reflect what we believe. Letting our lives be a shining example of God. (Matthew 5:16)In fact if we were to look at Christ's example, He ministered to prostitutes, lepers and others that the religionists of His day would not even go near! His ministry is the way of love sometimes tough and sometimes gentle. As disciples we are asked to emulate that. (John 13:34,35)

In the end far as doctrines go, we as Christians may disagree with doctrines or in some cases non-doctrines.. but in those instances we share the Word and let God take it from there. To condemn someone in those instances is not Christ like either. As Christians we are to first and foremost love and pray for them. To be sowers of God's word to everyone. (Luke 4:4-8)To set an example of His word and of Him! (1 Timothy 4:12)

Love but please don't condemn. Be an example!
